August 28, 2008 will mark 45 years since Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered the “I Have a Dream” speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. On that same day in Denver, CO, Barack Obama will accept the Democratic nomination for President of the United States, breaking historic barriers and paving a new path for generations to come.
To honor and celebrate this momentous occasion, Vote Hope is proud to sponsor a special program at the convention highlighting rising dynamic leaders who, like Obama, are standing on the shoulders of Dr. King to further our vision for a more fair and just world.
